Work with Us
I became a C.N.A. because I wanted to make an impact in others’ lives. I remain a C.N.A. to fulfill my purpose in life. It warms my heart when patients and families are satisfied and appreciate the experience I am providing. APEX Hospice and Palliative Care provides compassion during a patient and family’s most difficult time. I have worked for APEX for 12-years because it has become my home away from home. Our leadership cares about every single patient and family, while supporting their employees. We work as a team to provide quality care and support those we care for. I look forward to many more years of my career at APEX Health Services.
I chose to work in Home Health 15 years ago, and that is also when I chose APEX Health Services for my career. I always knew I wanted to help people. Working for Home Health has provided me with the knowledge and professionalism that allows me to provide assistance to patients who are unable to care for themselves. I stay in home health at APEX because of patient satisfaction.
I chose to work for APEX Health Services 15 years ago and chose to stay because I needed to be a part of a team where I knew I would be challenging, empathetic and committed to patients and myself as an employee. At APEX Health Services, the outcomes of my job duties are acknowledged and appreciated. I remain honored and proud to be part of a exceptional and evolving leadership and company.
I became interested in Hospice nursing while I was still in nursing school. During that time, I became a hospice volunteer and enjoyed working with patients and their families. It just seemed like a good fit for me. I have also worked in the hospital setting and skilled nursing with developmentally disabled adults. When I finally found a job in a Hospice company, I knew I was finally in the right place.
People often ask me how I can do my job and I don’t know what to say to them because it is so rewarding in the end. It can be an emotional roller coaster but I try to put myself in the other person's shoes and provide care and comfort during the time I spend with them to give them a better quality of life than they would have had without hospice.
I began working at Apex Hospice in 2018 and I am very happy here. I feel that it is my home. I am surrounded by colleagues who are like-minded and give their all. No one is ever too busy to help with a problem whether it be symptom management or wound care or just to vent after a particularly rough day. I have worked with several wonderful hospice doctors and have really appreciated the trust they put in me to do my job and the respect they have for my input when collaborating on patient care.

I chose to be a nurse at an early age. I chose APEX 15 years ago because of the “patient first” culture. I enjoy home health because of the variety of patients I provide care to. The patient outcomes that I am a part of and witness are amazing, and I get to be involved in that part of their lives. Whether it is heart surgery, a stroke or any illness that has occurred, to see a patient evolve into independence is rewarding. I have remained at APEX Health Services because they are able to navigate patient and employee satisfaction. I have been a witness to this company evolving with health care trends, patient needs and always preparing for the next generation of health care.

I became a hospice nurse because of the flexibility and autonomy. I am able to care for patients in a wholistic fashion. Working for APEX allows me to care for my patients without time restrictions, we understand the importance of hospice patient needs. What I like most about being a hospice nurse, it allows me to become personal with my patients and their families. It brings me joy to know that I have the power to meet my patient at the end of life and give an experience of caring, compassionate care.I have a diverse medical background. I've worked in hospitals, home health, infusion, and travel nurse. I am dedicated to Apex because they impress me with high expectation, they require from their employees to provide every patient high quality care . I pride myself on working for companies that allow me to be the great nurse I am. And Apex hospice concur with my beliefs. I enjoy working with Apex Hospice.
